Stories:
It's hard to write much about this
car, as it wasn't driven very far. In fact, I never drove it.
That's also not a picture of mine, I don't have any and pictures (and specs)
on this car are not easy to find. I'd love for some action shots
- apparently these things were awesome rally cars in the mid 60's.
As for the story behind this one -
I bought it off a friend thinking it would be a cool project car.
My eventual plans were to Pro Street it and put a Big Block under (and
through) the hood. Unfortunately, it was stored at a different friend's
house, and we couldn't get it to run anymore. I quickly ran out of
money and ambition when the extent of the rust became apparent - it needed
all new floors including the trunk. Parts for it were virtually unavailable,
wheels used a weird bolt pattern, I couldn't even find a cap and rotor
at a local parts store.
I ended up selling the car for parts
- kind of wish I would have had the space to keep it. (I'm sure my
girlfriend is happy I didn't.)
